Njamr supports .md, .markdown, .mdown, and .mkd files. You can double-click an associated file, use Open with, or open it from inside the app.

Common questions
Does Njamr edit my files?
No. Njamr is read-only by design and has no path that writes changes back to the Markdown source.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Markdown rendering, syntax highlighting, KaTeX math, and Mermaid diagrams are bundled. Only remote images explicitly referenced by a document need a connection.
Why does Windows ask me to trust a certificate?
Microsoft Store installations will be signed and handled by the Store. Certificate trust applies only to development or manually sideloaded builds.
How do I report a problem?
Email the address below with your Windows version, what you tried, and what happened. Attach a sample file only if it contains nothing private.
